Bulk Question Import: Using CSV for Effortless Question Management

Streamlining the process of question uploading, Codejudge offers the convenience of bulk uploads using CSV format. This efficient approach simplifies the incorporation of multiple questions into the system.

To upload bulk questions for a test, follow these steps:

Step 1: Login to the Codejudge recruiter account and navigate to the "Questions" section. Click on the "My Company Questions" tab, and within the filter section, you can select the different categories except DS-Algo, SQL and Machine Learning for uploading CSV. 

Step 2: In the filter section, choose the "Multiple Choice" type, then click the "Upload MCQs" button.

Note: On clicking 'Upload MCQs' button, the platform will display a pop-up where you can Download Template/ Upload Excel File.

Step 3: After downloading the MCQ Template, enter all the mandatory fields as explained below:

  • Description(Mandatory)- In this field, the recruiter can enter the question.
  • Image(Optional)- This field the recruiter can enter the url of the image if any.
  • Approx Time To Solve(Mandatory - in minutes)- Recruiter can enter the time for each question.
  • Option 1,2,3,4(Mandatory)- Here the recruiter can enter all the 4 options for the question.
  • Answer(Mandatory)- Here the recruiter should provide the correct answers e.g Option 1, Option 2.
  • Points(Optional - default = 1*number of correct answers)- Recruiter should enter points for the correct answer.
  • Difficulty(Mandatory) - must be one of 1. low 2. medium 3. High level.
  • Job Roles(Optional) - here the recruiter should enter the type of the job role.
  • Skills(Mandatory) - here the recruiter should enter required skills for the test.
  • Category(Optional) - here the recruiter should enter category - aptitude, coding.

Step 4: After entering the questions to the template then upload the CSV by clicking on the Upload MCQS button where you can save or publish.

New Enhancement: Now, you can add images directly to each question and review everything in a new preview window before finalizing your upload.

Step 5: In the filter section, choose the "Subjective" type, then click the action button to access the option to "Download Subjective Template".

Step 6: After downloading the Subjective Template, enter all the mandatory fields as explained below:

  • Title(Mandatory)- In this field, the recruiter can give the title of the questionnaire.
  • Description(Mandatory)- In this field, the recruiter can enter the question.
  • Approx Time To Solve(Mandatory - in minutes)- Recruiter can enter the time for each question.
  • Points(Optional - default = 1*number of correct answers)- Recruiter should enter points for the correct answer.
  • Answer 1(Mandatory - must match one of the options)- Here the recruiter should provide the correct answer among the given options.
  • Difficulty(Mandatory) - must be one of 1. low 2. medium 3. High level.
  • Skills(Mandatory) - here the recruiter should enter required skills for the test.
  • Job Roles(Optional) - here the recruiter should enter the type of the job role.
  • Image(Optional)- This field the recruiter can enter the url of the image if any.

Step 7: After entering the questions to the template then upload the CSV by clicking on the Upload Subjective button where you can save or publish.

Step 8: In the filter section, choose the "Video Recording" type, then click the action button to access the option to "Download Video Recording Template". Same process for Voice Recording.

Step 9: After downloading the Video Recording Template, enter all the mandatory fields as explained below:

  • Title(Mandatory)- In this field, the recruiter can give the title of the video recording.
  • Description(Mandatory)- In this field, the recruiter can enter the question.
  • Approx Time To Solve(Mandatory - in minutes)- Recruiter can enter the time for each question recording.
  • Points(Optional - default = 1*number of correct answers)- Recruiter should enter points for the correct answer.
  • Answer 1(Mandatory - must match one of the options)- Here the recruiter should provide the correct answer among the given options.
  • Difficulty(Mandatory) - must be one of 1. low 2. medium 3. High level.
  • Skills(Mandatory) - here the recruiter should enter required skills for the test.
  • Job Roles(Optional) - here the recruiter should enter the type of the job role.
  • Image(Optional)- This field the recruiter can enter the url of the image if any.
  • Max Duration- Time required for uploading the file.

Step 10: After entering the video recordings to the template then upload the CSV by clicking on the Upload Video Recording Template button where you can save or publish.

Step 11: In the filter section, choose the "File Upload" type, then click the action button to access the option to "Download File Upload Template". 

Step 12: After downloading the File Upload Template, enter all the mandatory fields as explained below:

  • Title(Mandatory)- In this field, the recruiter can give the title of the questionnaire.
  • Description(Mandatory)- In this field, the recruiter can enter the question.
  • Approx Time To Solve(Mandatory - in minutes)- Recruiter can enter the time for each question.
  • Points(Optional - default = 1*number of correct answers)- Recruiter should enter points for the correct answer.
  • Answer 1(Mandatory - must match one of the options)- Here the recruiter should provide the correct answer among the given options.
  • Difficulty(Mandatory) - must be one of 1. low 2. medium 3. High level.
  • Skills(Mandatory) - here the recruiter should enter required skills for the test.
  • Job Roles(Optional) - here the recruiter should enter the type of the job role.
  • Image(Optional)- This field the recruiter can enter the url of the image if any.

Step 13: After entering the questions to the template then upload the CSV by clicking on the Upload File Template button where you can save or publish.

Step 14: In the filter section, choose the "Diagram" type, then click the action button to access the option to "Download Diagram Template". Same process and template for uploading a Whiteboard filetype.

Step 15: After downloading the Diagram Template, enter all the mandatory fields as explained below:

  • Title(Mandatory)- In this field, the recruiter can give the title of the diagram.
  • Description(Mandatory)- In this field, the recruiter can enter the question.
  • Approx Time To Solve(Mandatory - in minutes)- Recruiter can enter the time for each question.
  • Points(Optional - default = 1*number of correct answers)- Recruiter should enter points for the correct answer.
  • Answer 1(Mandatory - must match one of the options)- Here the recruiter should provide the correct answer among the given options.
  • Difficulty(Mandatory) - must be one of 1. low 2. medium 3. High level.
  • Skills(Mandatory) - here the recruiter should enter required skills for the test.
  • Job Roles(Optional) - here the recruiter should enter the type of the job role.
  • Image(Optional)- This field the recruiter can enter the url of the image if any.

Step 16: After entering the diagram questions to the template then upload the CSV by clicking on the Upload Diagram Template button where you can save or publish.
